Career History
Patrick Mullee took up his position as Ambassador to Uruguay in April 2008. His career with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office began in 1974, and his first overseas posting was in Prague. He has undertaken a wide range of jobs, and particularly has extensive experience of Latin America, having worked previously in Venezuela, Costa Rica and Ecuador.
Mr Mullee’s most recent position in the Foreign Office in London was Human Resources Manager in the Directorate General for Defence and Intelligence.
