If you're in Uruguay and need to apply for a full UK passport, then you should apply direct to the "UK Passport Service Centre for the Americas and Caribbean", Washington D.C., USA.

You can still apply in Uruguay for a UK Emergency Passport.  This is a restricted validity, one-way, travel document that can get you to the UK.  Please contact us for more details. 

Payment

Applicants should inform their credit card issuer in advance of the dollar transaction.  This will avoid the card from being blocked as an "unusual transaction" and a potential delay in processing the application.
