Ambassador Patrick Mullee invited some guests (including sports journalists) to watch the final match of the Champions League between Manchester United and Barcelona.  A big screen was set up and football fans enjoyed the match while drinking English beer and eating home-made sandwiches. An official Manchester shirt was raffled among kids of the state school "Escuela Gran Bretaña".  All kids were also given a football and a journalist won a Manchester United T-shirt.  Although Barcelona won, the Brits accepted defeat gracefully and broke out the champagne.
