The Embassy runs a small projects scheme to work in pursuit of the Foreign Office departmental stragetic objectives and the Uruguay country business plan.  Although Uruguay has a good human rights record, we work with the Uruguayan government in areas such as freedom of information, official advertising, road safety and prison management.
